Due to the unfolding situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19) and in response to the advice by UK Government and Public Health England, Data Plastics limited will have temporarily closed its manufacturing facility in Witney, to all but essential component manufacturing, to protect the health of its staff and prevent the further spread of the Coronavirus.
The decision to halt all non-essential manufacturing was made by Carl Reeve, Managing Director, who commented: “For next few weeks we are only able to sustain our customers who are providing essential devices and components, utilising a skeleton, critical parts production team. In line with the Government’s latest advice, we plan to return to normal working on 4th May 2020 and apologise for any impact this may have on many of our customers.”
“This is a rapidly changing situation, as before, we will remain vigilant, continue to closely monitor developments and will aim to act quickly, efficiently and in the best interest of our Staff, Customers, and Suppliers.”
