The early morning runs, aching limbs and blisters are a thing of the past now for Tony, Jimmy and Barbara who completed the Milton Keynes Half Marathon in May 2019, in a noble effort to raise funds for the National Autistic Society, the UK’s leading charity for autistic people.

Tony Bates, Group Accountant for Data Plastics Ltd, together with Jimmy Dunn, Process Engineer and Barbara Zolnierczyk, Quality Inspector, have raised more than £1700 so far and would welcome any late donations to their fundraising page – click on https://www.justgiving.com/Tony-Bates

Tony said, “I was thrilled to take part in the Milton Keynes Half Marathon this year in aid of the National Autistic Society. This was both a tough and exhilarating challenge. We took part in this event for the National Autistic Society because of the work they do to towards creating a society that works for the 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK, transforming lives and changing attitudes.”

Since 1962, the National Autistic Society have been campaigning for autistic people’s rights and providing support and advice to autistic people and their families.
